I am a picture book author, copy editor, National Board Certified Teacher, mom, and reader.

My debut picture book biography, JUNKO’S CLIMB (Union Square Kids), was released on February 10, 2026. My second book, Scoop!, (Red Comet Press) will release on April 13, 2027.

When I’m not writing or editing, I love to spend time with my family, read a good book (while our tripod cat, Smokey, sits with me), or take our beagle mix, Finn, out for a walk.
